One more Kyrgyzstan's town begins its own production of masks

Bishkek, March 22, 2020./Kabar/. The Mayor's Office of Batken Oblast's Kyzyl-Kiya town together with local sewing shops are sewing masks, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said.

"Under an agreement with the Dinamo sewing shop, local budget allocates funds to produce 6 thousand masks," Mayor Ermekbai Topchubayev said.

"These masks will be handed over to employees of sanitary quarantine stations and medical institutions. Protective masks will also be sold in local pharmacies at low prices. Such measures are also being taken in other regions and towns of the oblast," the report says.
