Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Kudaibergen Bazarbaev visited children repatriated from Iraq, who live in Aravan village, Osh Oblast.
The ministry’s press service reported that 79 children were repatriated from Iraq, of whom 38 were boys and 41 were girls.
Most of the children - 31 children - live in Aravan village.
"These children survived the fighting, today they are just getting used to a peaceful life. Our task is to create all conditions for them, to show what care and protection the native country gives. Children's psychologists work with them to resocialize them and then hand them over to their relatives. There is an individual plan of social care and support for each child,” Kudaibergen Bazarbaev noted.
The Ministry of Labour is also working to restore children's documents.
Kudaibergen Bazarbaev inspected conditions in which the children live, how they are fed, what kind of classes are conducted with them.
The minister was accompanied by Children's Rights Ombudsman Zhyparisa Rysbekova and Presidential Envoy in Osh Oblast Ziyadin Jamaldinov.
