Landslide kills a family of 6 people in the south of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 26 / Kabar /. A landslide covered the residential building with its inhabitants in the village of Nichke-Sai, Uzgen region, Osh oblast, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The landslide came down on the night of March 26.

The earth mass of 800 meters in length and 4 to 15 meters in height passed about 500 meters and completely covered the house of a local resident. There were the owner, his wife and four children, the report said.

The Ministry said that the danger of a landslide still exists in the area and people from the nearby house will be evacuated.
