Large milk processing plant started operating in Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad

Jalal-Abad, June 14, 2022. /Kabar/. A large milk processing plant, which can process 120 tons of milk per day, started operating in Ala-Buka region of Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad Oblast.

The opening ceremony was attended by Jalal-Abad Oblast Governor Absattar Syrgabaev, head of Ala-Buka region Nurbek Satarov, other regions’ heads and local residents.

Today, the dairy plant uses about 10 percent of its capacity and processes 18 tons of milk per day. Products will be supplied in bulk to the company's Talas branch and Chui Oblast. There are plans to expand the range of dairy products and export them.

During his speech, Governor Syrgabaev noted that a work is carried out in Jalal-Abad Oblast to implement president's instructions to establish production facilities in regions, support entrepreneurship and employment of the local population.

The plant was created by a private entrepreneur with the support of local authorities. The purpose is to increase the income of the population through the collection of milk produced in Aksy and Chatkal regions. The plant employs 30 people who received special training.
