Bishkek, May 15, 2021. / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the launch of a large poultry farm Agro-Kush in the village of Sary-Kamysh in Issyk-Kul region of Issyk-Kul Oblast.
The visit was held as part of Sadyr Zhaparov's working trip to Issyk-Kul Oblast, his press service reported Friday.
The Kyrgyz leader was informed that the activities of the enterprise are aimed at the production of poultry. The project provides a full cycle of growing poultry and supplying it for slaughter.
It is expected that the total capacity of the enterprise at the initial stage will be 8,500 tons of live weight per year. With the realization of the second phase, this figure is planned to be increased up to 20 thousand tons per year.
The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund has allocated $3.5 million of concessional funds to launch the largest poultry farm in the country.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted the special importance of support and development of domestic producers. He expressed confidence that the launch of this enterprise will stimulate production in the domestic market of the country.
In his conversation with the workforce of the company, the president focused on the planned socio-economic reforms in the country, including expanding access for residents of all regions of the country to concessional mortgage resources.
