Largest chess board appears in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 2 / Kabar /. The largest chess board appeared in Bishkek’sa Ata-Turk park with the support of Bishkek Mayor’s Office.

According to the press service of the capital city administration, the chess board was installed by the Youth Development Institute with the aim of creating conditions for the intellectual development of young people. Figures are made of wood, which emphasize the national flavor of the Kyrgyz people, by depicting unique ornaments on them. The height of each figure is from 70 centimeters to 1 meter, the size of the chessboard is 5x5 meters.

In the future, it is planned to install benches with matrices for chess, to conduct tournaments and various events.
