Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2024. / Kabar /. The second phase of the Ak Kanat poultry farm, one of the enterprises of the Tri T breeding poultry farm, has been opened in the Issyk-Ata district of Chui region, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev noted the importance of the major investment project being implemented, aimed at improving the food security of Kyrgyzstan and reducing egg imports.
The Ak Kanat poultry farm was launched in February 2022 and in the first stage, 4 poultry houses were built, each of which is designed for 160,000 laying hens. This second phase closes 3 poultry houses for 150,000 laying hens. Their daily production is 140 thousand pieces of edible eggs. After launching at full capacity, the plant will produce 280 thousand pieces of edible eggs per day. The total number of employees of this enterprise is 50 people, including the creation of 10 new jobs.
The second phase of the Ak Kanat factory is an important part of a large investment project implemented jointly with the RKDF (Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund) with a total cost of 13.2 million US dollars. Also, more than 750 thousand US dollars were invested in the second phase.
The factory uses rapid bacterial fermentation technology to deodorize bird droppings.
Earlier, on August 22, 2023, the capsule was laid for the construction of the first phase of the Kirovets plant. When this factory reaches full capacity, it will produce 450 thousand pieces of edible eggs per day.
When the facility is operating at full capacity, the Tri T poultry farm will be able to produce 900 thousand eggs per day.
