Bishkek, Feb.12, 2020. /Kabar/. In 2019, 10 people died in Kyrgyzstan as a result of accidents involving public transport, Deputy Head of the General Inspectorate of Road Safety Ymanaly Sarkulov said addressing the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament).
He added in total, 205 road accidents involving public transport occurred over the past year.
"As a result, 10 people died and 332 people were injured," Sarkulov said.
The deputy head of the General Inspectorate of Road Safety added 21 road accidents with the participation of carriers of dangerous goods had occurred.
"They killed 1 person and injured 24 people," Ymanaly Sarkulov concluded.
