Last year, volume of trade between Kyrgyzstan and Russia increased by 40.8% - Akylbek Zhaparov

Bishkek, March 29, 2023. / Kabar /. “According to the results of last year, the volume of mutual trade between Kyrgyzstan and Russia increased by 40.8%,” Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov said at a regular meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation.

“It is gratifying that there is a positive trend in trade and economic relations between the two countries. The volume of mutual trade is growing every year. Thus, according to the results of last year, the volume of mutual trade increased by 40.8%, amounting to 3 billion 234 million US dollars. I consider it important not to stop there. The potential of our cooperation is far from exhausted. We must create favorable conditions for the development of trade, economic and investment relations, as well as the strengthening of interregional cooperation between the regions and subjects of the two countries,” he said.
