Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 9 a.m. Bishkek time, 535 citizens of Kyrgyzstan abroad voted in the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidabekov said at a briefing.
At the moment not all polling stations abroad are open for voting because of the time difference. He reminded that in total 45 polling stations are open outside Kyrgyzstan and the number of voters is 32 thousand 602.
Aidarbekov added that polling stations at the Consulate General in Yekaterinburg, Turkmenistan and the Embassy's office in Surgut opened at 9 a.m. Bishkek time.
The foreign minister added that the polling station in Washington, DC (USA) will be the last to open.
The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan has started on Sunday morning. 16 parties participate in the election race.
