Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2021 . / Kabar / . A meeting was held between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Latvia Edgars Rinkevics on the margins of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm, Sweden.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting, the sides discussed major issues of Kyrgyz-Latvian relations with an emphasis on deepening political dialogue.
Edgars Rinkevics confirmed the intention to visit Kyrgyzstan in early 2022.
The need to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade and economic sphere was noted.
The sides also expressed their intention to support each other's initiatives at various international platforms.
