Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2022 / Kabar /. As part of the reconstruction of the North-South alternative road at 159-183 km, the installation of the lower layer of asphalt concrete pavement at 10.5 km and the upper layer at 16 km was completed, the Ministry of Transport and Communications reported.
Also, 16 culverts have been built, construction work is underway on 10 culverts.
The cost of the project is estimated at USD17.9 million, of which USD 7.5 million has been disbursed.
The ministry added that this year it is planned to complete the laying of 14 km of asphalt concrete pavement and complete the main road construction work on the site.
The deadline for completion of construction work with a warranty period is 2024.
