Bishkek, May 16, 2022 / Kabar /. The leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states signed a number of joint documents in Moscow, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
Thus, the following documents are signed:
- Statements of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO in connection with the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the CSTO;
- Decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council "On awarding CSTO awards the participants in the CSTO peacekeeping operation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
According to the Decision, a number of officers and military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, who at the beginning of this year were sent as part of the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces to the Republic of Kazakhstan to stabilize and normalize the situation, were awarded.
The main tasks of the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces were to protect important state and military facilities, to assist the law enforcement forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan in stabilizing the situation and returning it to the legal field.
