Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2022. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in tree planting together with the heads of state and delegations who arrived to participate in the ninth meeting of the Summit of the Heads of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan).
The joint planting of trees took place as part of the nationwide project "Yashil Makon", implemented in Uzbekistan at the initiative of the country's President Shavkat Merziyoyev.
The goal of the project is to improve the ecological situation and air purity in the centers and settlements of cities and regions of the republic.
The event took place in the format of a teleconference between Uzbekistan and the countries participating in the OTSSummit.
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, tree planting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov, Ambassadors of the Turkic countries to the Kyrgyz Republic.
