Bishkek, April 17, 2023. / Kabar/. A leading Malaysian university allocates 20 free places for applicants from Kyrgyzstan. Altynbek Begaliev, director of the Logos company, told during a press conference at Kabar Agency.

He said that students with high academic achievements from Kyrgyzstan will be provided with free education, they only have to cover the cost of living and meals. “In this university, the cost of these services is very affordable,” Begalievadded.

“Also, the university intends to work closely with the universities of Kyrgyzstan within the framework of student and academic exchange and joint research. Today it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with two Kyrgyz universities: Kyrgyz National University and Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic,” he said.

He stressed that Xiamen University Malaysia is one of the top universities in Malaysia and is the campus of a top university in China.

In turn, the rector of Xiamen University Malaysia, Professor Wang Ryufang, said that in the Ranking of the best world universities in 2022 published by US News, XMU ranks 41st in Asia and 247th in the world.

“Xiamen University Malaysia is a university located in Bandar Sunsuriya, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. It is the first overseas campus established by a Chinese public university. Our university is very young, the first university applicants entered in 2016, but we are growing very quickly. Currently, more than 6.8 thousand students are being educated at the university. The university offers a total of 22 undergraduate majors, 9 master's programs and 5 doctoral programs in the fields of art, business, science, technology and Chinese medicine,” the rector said.

He noted that all training is conducted in English.
