Last year witnessed increases in life expectancy in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb.25, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan in 2019 there was an increase in the life expectancy of citizens, Deputy Health Minister of the country Madamin Karatayev said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.

According to his data, last year life expectancy for men made 67.5 years and 71.4 years for women.

"Thus, last year life expectancy increased by 2.3 years," said Karatayev.

Also, according to the deputy health minister’s data, primary health care was provided in total by 78 health facilities, where 672 groups of family doctors (GFD), 17 independent legal GFD and 1053 midwife centers are functioning.
