Bishkek, July 6, 2020 / Kabar /. President of Uzbekistan signed decree providing benefits to livestock breeders in all areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Trend reports citing nuz.uz.
According to the Ministry of Justice, earlier only livestock breeders in Bozatausky, Muynaksky, Takhtakupyrsky and Kungradsky regions used privileges. The decree “On additional measures for the accelerated development of livestock industries in the Republic of Karakalpakstan”, signed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 3, extends these provisions throughout the republic.
The benefits will apply to the initiators of projects for grazing small and cattle breeding in an industrial way, including on pastures and hayfields, production of livestock feed, as well as processing livestock products in all areas of Karakalpakstan.
As an exception, livestock farmers will be able to obtain without a tender and auction: irrigated lands for livestock farming, pastures and hayfields for livestock grazing, construction of livestock farms, processing livestock products, and production of animal feed in the absence of a land plot not used in agriculture - low-fertile irrigated land.
The State Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurship along with compensation will give a guarantee to livestock breeders.
The Karakalpak livestock breeders, who have used the compensation and the guarantee of the State Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurship, are allowed as an exception to use the guarantee of the Fund until the full repayment of their loan debts.
