Bishkek, Dec.2, 2024. /Kabar/. A collection of translations for children “Magic Bridge” has been published in Toronto, Canada, compiler of the collection, member of the National Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan Nargisa Karasartova said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
She noted that the collection is currently available on the website of the publishing house lulu.com, during the next month it will appear on all major book platforms around the world.
“In the next month it will be available on all major book sites, including Amazon,” Karasartova emphasized.
The Magic Bridge collection is multi-lingual. It includes poems and stories of contemporary Kyrgyz authors translated by Nargisa Karasartova into Russian and English.
Member of the National Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan Bermet Alymbaeva added that these books play a great role in strengthening friendly ties between the Kyrgyz people and other nations, as well as in popularizing Kyrgyz traditions and customs.
The collection includes works by 22 authors from Kyrgyzstan and one from Kazakhstan.
In addition, one of the authors of the collection and a member of the National Union of Writers Leila Karasartova emphasized that one of the goals of the project was to make the names of Kyrgyz authors known around the world.
“Each work in the collection teaches purity, kindness, light and beauty. Our authors are not inferior to foreign authors, and in some respects even surpass them. The book turned out bright and colorful," she added.
