Local council elections: 3,511 Kyrgyzstanis vote outside premises

Bishkek, July 11, 2021. / Kabar / . Voting in Kyrgyzstan’s repeat local council elections outside the premises took place on July 10.

According to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Election of Deputies of Local Councils", precinct election commissions provide the opportunity to vote outside the voting premises one calendar day before voting day to those who are included in the voter lists, but for health reasons or other reasons specified in the law, cannot come to the polling station.

Voters in hospitals, detention centers, and those temporarily residing in places were also included in the list of voters for voting outside the premises.

Of those included in the list for voting outside the premises, 3,511 voters actually voted: in Bishkek - 2,277, Osh - 1,031, and Tokmok - 203.
