Bishkek, June 23, 2020 / Kabar /. Balbak Tulobaev, head of the apparatus of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office in an interview to journalists told that that the peak incidence of COVID-19 in the capital will be at the end of June.
During the conversation, he threatened that the city would be closed if the number of cases did not decrease.
“I think that by July 1 there will be a peak in incidence. If there is no decline before July 10, after July 15, the city will have to be closed. It’s necessary to break the chain. Close the city for at least a week,”he said.
Tulobaev expressed concern over the negligent attitude of citizens to the situation and wonders how in this state of affairs people continue to believe that the virus does not exist. He listed who among the employees of the municipality became infected, and also cited as an example public people who also had COVID-19.
