Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2024. / Kabar/. A logistics center for processing prunes in the village of Jerge-Tal of Jalal-Abad Oblast will be opened in September. During the season, the enterprise will provide more than 25 local residents with seasonal work.
A total of 26 million 800 thousand soms were spent on the construction of the enterprise and providing it with the necessary equipment.
The center plans to process, pack, package and export finished products to Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan. The capacity of the enterprise allows processing 50 tons of prunes per day.
In addition, a logistics warehouse for storing 500 tons of fruits and berries was opened in the Aksy district of the Jalal-Abad region.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the total estimate for this facility was 22 million soms. The enterprise provides more than 10 local residents with seasonal work.
