Lowest rates of vaccination observed in Bishkek and Chui Oblast: Health Ministry

Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2022 . / Kabar /. The lowest rates of vaccination are observed in Bishkek and Chui Oblast, Gulbara Ishenapysova, the Director of the Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

To date, according to statistics, the smallest coverage of the second dose of vaccine against COVID-19 is observed in Bishkek with 34% and Chui Oblast with 33%.

"In turn, high rates are registered in Talas Oblast - 69%, in Issyk-Kul Oblast - 65%, in Osh Oblast - 65%, in Naryn Oblast - 64%, in Osh city - 60% and in Batken Oblast - 45%," Ishenapysova said.

Kyrgyzstan started the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020. The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
