Bishkek, July 5, 2022. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met with Minister of State of the Federal Foreign Office Tobias Lindner, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed priority issues and main directions of cooperation between the two countries in the short and medium term.
They also emphasized the high level of Kyrgyz-German relations over the past 30 years and discussed plans to exchange visits and hold regular inter-ministerial consultations to further develop political dialogue and expand bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Tekebaev stressed that Germany is one of the leading global political centers and Kyrgyzstan is interested in active development of mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment and other areas.
Tobias Lindner noted the importance of the establishment and the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council in June 2022, and expressed the willingness of the German side to further strengthen the Kyrgyz-German bilateral relations in various fields.
The sides agreed to continue political dialogue with the aim of further development of Kyrgyz-German relations.
