Main New Year tree of Kyrgyzstan enters top 10 highest in CIS

Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2022. / Kabar /. The TurStat portal has presented a rating of the capitals of the CIS countries with the highest New Year trees this year.

The highest main New Year tress of the CIS countries have been installed in the capitals of Belarus, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

According to data of TurStat, the top CIS countries with the largest Christmas trees are Ashgabat (43 m), Yerevan (37 m), Tashkent (35 m), Baku (34 m), Dushanbe (30 m), Minsk and Moscow (27 m) and Bishkek (25 m).

The main New Year tree of Kyrgyzstan, installed on the Ala-Too square in Bishkek, was solemnly lit on December 16.

The rating is based on the results of a study of the height of the main New Year trees in the CIS countries.
