Main news agencies of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to cooperate

Tashkent, March 14 / Kabar /. Director of Kabar Kyrgyz National News Agency Kubanychbek Taabaldiev met on Monday in Tashkent with Director General of UzA, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan Mamatkul Hazratkulov.

Taabaldiev briefed his colleague about the ongoing reforms in the media sphere in Kyrgyzstan, as well as changes in the structure of Kabar News Agency in the context of world globalization. He said that the most foreign countries perceive Central Asia as a single region, so it is interesting for them to receive information about the overall picture of the vital activity of all countries in the region. "Our cooperation plays a noble mission in this direction and helps attract the attention of foreign readers, as well as investors in our region, including our countries," he said.

The interlocutors discussed the practical issues of establishing cooperation between the main Kyrgyz and Uzbek agencies in the field of information exchange, the experience of covering the events in each country, as well as in the region as a whole. The parties planned in the near future to sign the Agreement on cooperation between Kabar and UzA.

Taabaldiev is in Tashkent as a member of the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, which arrived in Tashkent for the Kyrgyz-Uzbek ministerial consultations.
