Bishkek, Jan. 5, 2021. /Kabar/. Downward trend in the incidence of COVID-19 coronavirus infection was observed in mid-November 2020, Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev said at a briefing on Tuesday.
According to him, this may be due to the fact that the majority of the population has already recovered from COVID-19, which is confirmed by the results of ELISA tests.
"It is also related to distance learning, the introduction of restrictive measures in public places and the observance of mask regime," said the minister.
As of Jan. 5, Kyrgyzstan's total number of coronavirus infection has reached 81,512, of these 76,955 have recovered and 1,360 died.
