Malaysia is well-established representative of ‘Asian Tigers’ for us: Kyrgyz FM

Bishkek, July 3, 2023 ./Kabar/. Malaysia is a well-established representative of the "Asian Tigers", Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev said during a meeting with his Malaysian counterpart Zambry Abdul Kadir in Bishkek on Monday.

Kulubaev added that Malaysia is one of the most developed countries in Southeast Asia, which has gone through many stages of the process of political development.

The Kyrgyz minister also said that there are no disagreements between the countries, on the contrary, in many international and regional issues the countries have the same position.

"We have a similar mentality, traditions and culture, which gives us a great advantage for the establishment of ties and joint cooperation between the two countries. I am confident that your visit will create a good ground for further development of bilateral and multilateral relations. I am sincerely glad to have the opportunity today to exchange views on relevant issues of cooperation between the two countries," Jeenbek Kulubaev said.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Zambry Abdul Kadir has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit at the invitation of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev.

The visit also includes a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov and Parliament Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev.
