Malaysia ready to share experience with Kyrgyzstan in regional development and combating corruption

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2018 / Kabar /. Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed said that his government is ready to share experiences in the development of the digital economy, regions, education and the fight against corruption at a meeting with a delegation from Kyrgyzstan led by ex-President Roza Otunbayeva.

The issues of bilateral cooperation between the countries were discussed at the meeting for the development of political and economic ties, the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Mahathir Mohamed led the Malaysian government from 1981 to 2003.

In 2018, he was re-elected Prime Minister of the country from the opposition alliance Nadezhda, which won the elections in May.

Mohamed is called the author of the “Malaysian miracle,” during his governance the country became one of the “Asian tigers.”
