Bishkek, March 20, 2022 . / Kabar / . Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Talant Mamytov and Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matviyenko exchanged congratulatory telegrams on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
Talant Mamytov's message notes that during this period, Kyrgyzstan and Russia have laid a solid foundation for bilateral relations, achieved a high level of political dialogue, successfully developing economic, cultural and humanitarian ties and established inter-parliamentary cooperation.
"I express confidence that these relations based on mutual respect and trust will continue to steadily develop for the benefit of our peoples. I am convinced that active interaction between the parliaments of our countries will contribute to further development and deepening of comprehensive cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation," the telegram reads.
Chairwoman of Russia's Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko noted that this event has opened a qualitatively new stage in the long history of friendship, brotherhood and mutual support, and laid the foundation for strategic partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
"I am confident in the inviolability of friendly Russian-Kyrgyz relations and the continuation of fruitful cooperation, of which constructive inter-parliamentary dialogue is an integral part. In the current circumstances, we need to use all opportunities to intensify contacts in areas of mutual interest, including the improvement of the regulatory framework and the mechanisms of cooperation," the congratulatory telegram runs.
