Bishkek, Jan. 14, 2021 / Kabar /. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov today, on January 14, received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdurahman Al-Juma on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reported.
The speaker thanked Abdurahman Al-Juma as the first ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kyrgyz Republic for his enormous contribution to the formation and development of Kyrgyz-Saudi relations, which have been raised to a new qualitative level over the past few years.
Mamytov informed about the internal political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic and the past presidential elections and a referendum on the form of government. At the same time, he emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic remains fully committed to all its international obligations and strict implementation of all bilateral and multilateral treaties and agreements signed with the Kingdom earlier.
The speaker added that the Jogorku Kenesh intends to further deepen and strengthen these relations, which have noticeably intensified in recent years.
The sides noted that during the visits of the heads of parliaments of the two countries in 2019-2020, topical issues of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as expanding political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties were discussed.
In turn, Abdurahman Al-Juma said that Saudi Arabia aims to further deepen friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and positively assessed the inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries.
At the end of the conversation, the speaker expressed confidence in expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation and establishing friendly contacts between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia.
