Bishkek, March 9, 2021 / Kabar /. A man in Issyk-Kul Oblast left the ranks of the Hizb ut-Tahrir religious extremist organization (REO), the press service of the Issyk-Kul Internal Affairs Directorate said.

According to the information, in the course of joint explanatory work by the police and security service’s employees in Issyk-Kul Oblast, a 37-year-old resident of the regional center announced his withdrawal from the ranks of the REO.

He said that in 2007 he began to read namaz (praying), and then joined this organization due to a lack of understanding about its activities and role.
