Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2018. /Kabar/. There are no free riders in the trains of Kyrgyzstan, Kuban Asanbekov, Deputy Director General of the Kyrgyz Temir Jolu State-Owned Enterprise told at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
He said that the Director of the enterprise instructed the passenger service to eradicate the concept of free riders in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. “An official investigation have been scheduled regarding the posted video on the Internet and broadcasted on a number of TV channels of allegedly free riders. There is a verification of this fact, when there will be results, we will additionally make a statement,” Asanbekov said.
He said that the share of the Kyrgyz Temir Jolu SOE in the sale of tickets for the Moscow-Bishkek route is 24.5%. “The lion’s share is received by the Russian and Kazakh railways. It is in their interests not to allow free riders in the train, so we can say that there are no free riders on the railways in Kyrgyzstan,” Asanbekov said.
He said that there are inspectors in the trains who record violations before the train leaves the territory of Kyrgyzstan, they also supervise the process of embarking, disembarking, conditions in the train, etc.
