Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2022 . / Kabar / . Bishkek hosted on Thursday an official ceremony of handing over the management of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital to the Kyrgyz side.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry reported that the event was attended by now former chief physician Ozgur Chelebi, and Kyrgyz Deputy Minister of Health Uluk-Bek Bekturganov. He introduced new head of the hospital Osmonali Masaliev to the staff and congratulated on his appointment.
In turn, representatives of the Turkish side thanked their Kyrgyz colleagues for the fruitful cooperation and wished success in their future work.
The Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital was opened on Aug. 26, 2021.
The hospital has 72 beds, including 21 intensive care beds, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and X-ray equipment.
The agreement on the opening of the hospital was reached during an official visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Turkey in June 2021.
