Manas airport and Qatar Airways plan to launch new international flights

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. Manas International Airport OJSC in partnership with Qatar Airways plans to launch new flights, the press service of Manas airport reported.

Executive director of Manas International Airport OJSC Mirlan Kubataliev, airport network service manager Niraj Mutuswamy and Qatar Airways regional airport service manager Issam Hanafer discussed the opening of new flights.

“We are very interested and pleased that one of the world's largest international airlines, Qatar Airways, is interested in working with our Manas International Airport. We know that this company is expanding rapidly and is one of the fastest growing, operating one of the youngest fleets in the world. Therefore, we are happy to cooperate in all areas, including freight transportation,” Kubataliev noted.

At the same time, a presentation of regional airports in Kyrgyzstan and their development opportunities was shown at the meeting.

Qatar Airways is the national airline of Qatar and is headquartered in Doha.

The airline operates flights on more than 150 routes, including destinations of its subsidiary carrier (Qatar Airways Cargo), of which over 100 are international destinations:

 38 routes to Europe

 51 routes to the Middle East and Africa

 24 routes to South Asia, India and the Indian Ocean

 28 routes to Asia-Pacific and Australia

 11 routes to North America

 2 routes to South America
