Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) was included in the list of higher education institutions according to the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking, which is considered one of the most prestigious world rankings for achieving sustainable development goals in education, the press service of the university said.
Over the past two years, KTMU has been making progress and opening up new horizons in various areas of higher education. Thanks to this that Manas became the first and only university in Kyrgyzstan included in the ranking list.
The Times Higher Education Impact Ranking is the only global ranking table for university performance against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In order to ensure a comprehensive and objective comparison of the activities of universities in various fields, indicators of achievements in such areas as management, social assistance, training, etc. are being studied.
According to the fourth edition of Impact Ranking 2022, 1406 universities from 106 countries are included in the overall ranking list.
Manas university was able to enter the ranking list thanks to the support of President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov in the field of sustainable higher education. Undoubtedly, this fact will have a positive impact on the motivation of the students of Manas university, the report said.
