Bishkek, May 23, 2021. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov visited a market in Kadamjay town as part of his working trip to Batken and Osh Oblasts of the country, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
"The Cabinet of Ministers makes maximum efforts to ensure the food security of the inhabitants of our country. Today, we import many goods. But our plan is to change that. We must provide ourselves with goods of our own production," he said.
The chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers got acquainted with the prices of basic necessities, talked to visitors of the market and then to farmers who worked on their land plots.
Further, Maripov familiarized with the progress of repair work in secondary school No. 9 in Kyzyl-Kiya town.
In 2018, works were started at the facility, which have not yet been completed due to the untimely allocation of funds.
Ulukbek Maripov noted the importance of rapid and high quality completion of all commenced works, adding that the construction of social facilities is given special attention.
