Bishkek, July 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov received the Kyrgyz Olympic team at the Ala-Archa state residence, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
"First of all, I want to congratulate you and all your teammates with inclusion into the Kyrgyz Olympic team, and, of course, I wish you a successful performance at the 32nd Summer Olympic Games. I am confident you will be able to overcome everything and perform strongly. The whole country will be rooting for you in hope to hear the anthem of our republic," Ulukbek Maripov said.
Maripov added the prize fund for athletes of the Kyrgyz national team has been established.
Thus, athletes of the national team will receive KGS 10 million for winning the Olympics in Tokyo, KGS 7 million for the silver medal and KGS 5 million for the bronze award.
“Sport is a great struggle. May your names be inscribed in gold letters in the history of sports in our country. Let all generations be proud of you," Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Maripov concluded, and handed Kyrgyzstan’s flag to the captain of the Olympic team Atabek Azisbekov.
