Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2021 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kyrgyz Republic Ibrahim Al Radi, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
During the meeting Maripov said that the republic attaches priority importance to the further progressive development of cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and also informed about the preparation of the official visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ulukbek Maripov stressed that next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and proposed to declare 2022 the Year of Friendship between the peoples of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within which various events in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres can be held.
In turn, Ibrahim Al Radi expressed support for the initiative of the head of the Cabinet.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
