Bishkek, May 6, 2024. /Kabar/. A mass athletics race, the “Silk Road 2024” marathon, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Osh State University, took place in the central square of Osh city of Kyrgyzstan.
The marathon was attended by more than 1000 people aged from 14 to 68 years old from among the teaching staff of Osh State University, students, tourists, as well as amateur runners from China, Russia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, India, athletes from Bishkek, Naryn, Jalal-Abad, Batken.
The race was organized over three distances - 3, 5 and 10 km. The winners and runners-up of the marathon were awarded medals, diplomas of appropriate degrees and cash prizes.
