Mass food poisoning of children occurred at private school near Bishkek

Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2020 / Kabar /. There was a massive food poisoning of children of private school in Baitik village, outskirts of Bishkek, the Ministry of Health said.

According to data of the ministry, on Dec. 8, at about 23:00, 23 children (from 8 to 20 years old) with food poisoning were delivered by ambulance to the City Children's Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medicine.

All children received medical assistance: gastric lavage, infusion, detoxification therapy. The children's condition is assessed as relatively satisfactory.

The Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Alamedin District organized an epidemiological visit to the school to conduct an epidemiological investigation.

Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev personally went to the hospital to get acquainted with the condition of the children, the Health Ministry said.
