Bishkek, March 31, 2021 / Kabar /. To date, 26 servicemen of the Air Defense Forces of Kyrgyzstan receive appropriate treatment at the National Center for Phthisiology, chief of staff of military unit 99718 Ruslan Abduldabekov told at a press conference.
He said that to date, an epidemiological investigation is underway on this fact, a hotbed of the infection has been identified, the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic has opened a criminal case.
“All those responsible for this fact will be punished as part of the investigation,” he said.
In addition, the chief of staff indicated that all the servicemen are currently in a satisfactory condition.
He also added that all personnel, including civilian personnel, underwent a chest x-ray to determine tuberculosis infection.
Earlier it was reported that 24 soldiers of the Air Defense Forces with a closed form of tuberculosis were admitted to the city anti-tuberculosis hospital of Bishkek.
