Bishkek, March 18, 2021. / Kabar /. 15 soldiers with closed form of tuberculosis were admitted to the city TB hospital in Bishkek, head physician of the hospital Tamara Bayalieva told Kabar Agency.
She noted that the first soldier was hospitalized on Jan. 21, and the last, fifteenth –on March 18.
The head physician said that 14 out of 15 admitted were from one military unit.
“All of them have a closed form of tuberculosis. Some have pulmonary inflammatory areas, others have fluids, inflammation of the pleura,” she said.
Bayalieva noted that, presumably, the soldiers contracted tuberculosis during the course of a young soldier in early autumn last year, because for today they all came from different barracks.
“That is, one military unit was located in different places, dividing into divisions. All these young people were at the same time only during the course of the young fighter, presumably in September,” she said.
Tamara Bayalieva added that there are soldiers with closed uniforms in their hospital, she suggested that those with open uniforms may be in another hospital.
