Mayor of London Sadiq Khan reads excerpt from Aitmatov’s "Jamilya" novel

Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2018. / Kabar /. Along with a number of famous British politicians, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan took part in the Aitmatov Readings organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Great Britain dedicated to the 90th anniversary of great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.

In his video speech, Sadiq Khan read an excerpt from Chingyz Aitmatov’s "Jamilya" novel, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.

The Secretariat of the All-Parliamentary Parliamentary Friendship Group "Great Britain-Kyrgyzstan" of the Parliament of Great Britain made a support in organization of the event.
