Osh, Oct. 29, 2018. /Kabar/. Issues of bilateral cooperation in the socio-economic, cultural and infrastructure areas were discussed at the meeting of Vice Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrov with Mayor of the Chinese city of Xining Zhang Xiaorong in Osh, where the guests arrived with a working visit. .
In his welcoming speech, Kadyrov told about the work being carried out in Osh to improve and strengthen bilateral ties with Chinese cities and joint projects implemented in Osh with the assistance of Chinese investors.
In turn, the Mayor of the city of Xining noted that the purpose of the visit is to raise the relations of the two sister cities to a new level, adding that Osh has a very good investment climate, and the development of the twin cities relations of the two cities can be emphasized within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" project of the cities on the Great Silk Road. During the implementation of this project, it will be possible to carry out twinning in various directions - from education and culture to participation in joint economic business projects.
The delegation from the city of Xining includes heads of major industrial and processing enterprises exporting products to the USA and European countries. The delegation plans to meet with main businessmen and business representatives of the city of Osh in order to establish relations and develop bilateral cooperation.
Last year in Osh, a bilateral agreement on sister city relations was signed between the cities of Osh and Xining.
