Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received on Wednesday Minister of Energy and Industry Kubanychbek Turdubayev, his press service said.
The president and the minister discussed measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers, strengthening energy security and increasing the industrial potential of the country.
Turdubayev reported on the tasks being implemented to ensure the successful passing the heating period and the prospects for further development of the energy sector and industry as a whole.
He noted the readiness of the energy services to carry out increased work to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the country's consumers.
President Zhaparov stressed the issue of uninterrupted power supply to the population of the republic is one of the extremely important tasks and preservation of stable operation of strategic energy equipment is a paramount measure of departments and economic entities of the domestic energy industry.
He drew attention to the importance of increasing the export potential of the country in the future and reaching the profitability of the energy system as a whole.
The head of state once again stressed the importance of strengthening the country's energy security, increasing the industrial potential of the republic and attracting additional investment in these areas.
