Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2021. / Kabar /. An analysis was conducted on the basis of daily monitoring of retail prices of average consumer prices for beef, mutton and horsemeat across Kyrgyzstan.
According to the National Statistics Committee of the republic, an analysis covers prices as of Feb. 11 compared to January 2021.
As of Feb. 11, in comparison with the previous month, retail prices of beef throughout the republic increased by KGS 2.77 per 1 kg or 0.6%, mutton by KGS 8.17 per 1 kg or 1.9%, and horsemeat by KGS 2.29 per 1 kg or 0.6%.
The highest level of prices for beef was observed in Osh city – KGS 452.48 (about $5.37) per 1 kg, for mutton in Kara-Suu town – KGS 470 ($5.58) per 1 kg and for horsemeat in Naryn town – KGS 445.48 ($5.29) per 1 kg.
Meanwhile, the lowest prices for beef and mutton were recorded in Pokrovka village, Manas region – KGS 374.37($4.45) per 1 kg, for horsemeat in Kara-Suu town- KGS 300 ($36.5) per 1 kg.
