Media research activities for 10th anniversary of BRI held in China’s Shenzhen

Shenzhen, Oct. 26, 2023 / Kabar /. The launch ceremony of Qianhai Station for media research activities for the 10th anniversary of the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative was held on Oct. 26 in Qianhai of Shenzhen, China's Guangdong Province.

Th event brought together representatives of Chinese and foreign media, including winners and finalists of the First Silk Road Global News Awards, as well as representatives of Qianhai Authority.

Speaking at the, ceremony, editor-in-chief of People's Daily Online Luo Hua, said that over the past 10 years, international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has flourished, achieving fruitful results.

“The Belt and Road Initiative could not have transitioned from vision to reality without media outlets around the world documenting and promoting it,” he noted.

Deputy Director-General of the Qianhai Authority Wang Jinxia, from his part, said that on the 10thanniversary of the BRI, President Xi Jinping announced the “Eight Actions” to support the high quality construction of the Belt and Road.

“The support and establishment of the Belt and Road News Network in Qianhai forges not only a showcase of achievement, but also a dynamic practice in response to the “Eight Actions”. Over the past decade, the joint construction of the Belt and Road has achieved historic accomplishment, paving a new way of cooperation, opportunities and prosperity towards common development,” he said adding that as a frontier in development, Qianhai s committed to its original mission and actively contributes to the Belt and Road Initiative.
