The press service of the southern capital’s Mayor’s Office reported that Mayor of Osh Taalaibek Sarybashov held a meeting with heads of relevant services, the chairpersons of local territorial departments on increasing demand for flour in the markets and shops of the city on March 15.
The mayor said that in order to prevent the spread of viral infections, including coronavirus, the production of medical masks has begun in Osh.
The Antimonopoly Service has been given the task of monitoring the prices of medicines, including masks. In Osh, the Dastan-Yug enterprise launched the production of medical masks. The volume of production per day is 10 thousand units, per month - 400 thousand masks, and per year the company can produce about 10 million medical masks. This product meets all quality standards. Other sewing enterprises also expressed an initiative to begin production of medical masks, Sarybashov emphasized.
