Medical services should be patient-centered – Kyrgyz health minister

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2022. / Kabar /. Medical services should be patient-centered, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told during a meeting with the staff of the National Surgical Center of Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of the ministry said thatthe minister spoke about the ongoing reforms in the healthcare system, about their importance for improving the quality of medical care to the population.

He emphasized that the goal of the reforms is to provide the country's population with more affordable and high-quality medical care in accordance with the real needs of the population.

“The Ministry of Health will analyze the work of tertiary healthcare organizations in Bishkek and in the country. Medical services should be patient-centered. It is necessary to improve the access of the population to medical care and medicines in tertiary medical institutions staffed by more qualified medical personnel,” said Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.
