Bishkek, June 23, 2020 /Kabar/. Medical workers in Kyrgyzstan are fully provided with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova told Tuesday.

According to her, monitoring of the number of PPE is conducted by the Government, the Republican Headquarters (HQ for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus Infection), the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF) and the Health Ministry of the republic.

"In the case of lack of PPE in a medical institution, the same day the insufficient amount of personal protective equipment is sent from warehouses," she said.

At the same time, Ismailova stressed that there is a set of PPE, which indicates their total number and the balance.
